"6-13 Peace Concert" Festival is an initiative of Sahel Production to raise money for the Northern Mali Conflict refugees dispersed to Niamey, Niger. The festival will serve as a place for spreading the message of peace and reconciliation in African societies.

In collaboration with the African Cultural Center, a twelve year old non-profit organization based in New York City, Sahel Production is importing American and European artists like Les Nubians, Siren-Protectors of the Rainforset, and Gloria Ry'ann to perform with African artists like Mamar Kassey, Alima Coulibaly, and DJ Arafat to spread the message of multi-cultural and multi-ethnic unity. And, to use music in the arts as a healing tool to address conflict.

We  plan on having this concert annually around June 13th. This year, 2013, we plan to have it on June 15th and 16th and expect 10,000 plus people in attendance. For tickets call 227-969-70801
