“6-13 Peace Concert” Festival is an initiative of the African Cultural Center (ACC), a twelve year-old not-for-profit organization, based in New York City, in collaboration with Sahel Production (Niger). Our mission at the ACC is “to educate, cultivate and raise awareness of African cultures and to leverage the variety of resources of the Center to connect people of the African continent and people of the Diaspora through the Arts, performances and presentations.”

 

Anticipated audience:  We plan to welcome approximately ten thousand plus professionals, students, as well as the refugees from the Northern Mali Conflict who are appreciative of the African culture with strong interest in African history and immigrant diversity, entertainment, music and discussions.
